A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
